Previously we have profiled the Bombardier 40XR, today we will take a brief look at another Bombardier Leer Jet (LearJet) that provides slightly different options for those who are in the market for a LearJet. The LearJet 45 weighs in at approximately 35,000 pounds, and is equipped with advanced flight software and design elements. The cabin is designed to accommodate nine passengers in a double-seat configuration, complete with swivel recliner seats and tables. Additionally, the cabin is outfitted with a galley that has passenger facilities (read bathroom) and also integrates steps into the port-side door. Also, the baggage compartment is heated (we all know how important this is).
This Leer Jet aircraft is powered by two Honeywell TFE731-20 turbofan engines and has the ability to climb to cruising altitude in approximately 23 seconds (not bad). Honeywell also provides the air conditioning and pressurization systems that are used to regulate the environmental aspects of the aircraft.
We hope this information has helped you.
Happy Flying!
