As part of my ongoing commitment to my readers, I have gone out on the web in search of yet another site that offers LearJets for sale. I swear I get different results for this based on the day that I query it. I may just be the way the Google orders their search results, but that is an article for another time. I went out and found two sites that deal in the sale of aircraft, to include the sale of LearJets. I think you will be happy with my results.

My first vendor is J. Mesinger Corporate Jet sales. They offer a wide selection of aircraft, and an easy way to search their inventory. Their site is laid out nicely, and it is very intuitive to navigate. They currently offer Gulfstreams, Hawkers, Citations and more. Additionally, the site has a section for aircraft that are wanted. This seems like it would come in handy if you have a jet you would like to sell. This company may be able to meet your needs if you are looking for Lear Jets for sale.

Another nicely laid out site is Corporate Jet Sales. The content is presented in an easy to follow manner, and they provide a good deal of information. Much J. Mesinger, this group acts not only a broker to facilitate jet sales, but they will also work with you to help you sell a jet that you may want to liquidate. Also like the first site, they deal with Hawkers, Gulfstreams, Mustangs and Citations. They make use of many pictures to present to you what the interior of the jet for sale looks like. This feature allows the buyer to get an idea about what they are looking a purchasing before they ever begin negotiations.

If your company decides to give either of these companies a try, please consider coming back and telling us how they performed and if you were impressed with their service.

Thanks, and have fun flying!

Many people spend a good deal of time looking for information about aircraft for sale. I have spent a fair amount of time looking around the web for information about where to buy these jet airplanes. One of the issues with looking on the web for information about aircraft sales is trying to make a determination about which sites are worth visiting and which ones offer no value. Hopefully I can point you to a couple of sites that have good information.

AirCraftDealer has a nice selection and a good inventory of planes for sale. Not only do they focus on the LearJet line of planes, but they also deal with GulfStream, Cessna, and Aviat jets. The site provides nice pictures of the inside of the planes and it will tell you what is currently for sale, and who to contact. They also offer information about aircraft leasing, and aircraft financing. It is one stop shopping for all of your aircraft needs.

Another site that you can check out is Controller. They also have lots of good information about jets to include financing and leasing as well.

If your company decides to give either of these companies a try, please consider coming back and telling us how they performed and if you were impressed with their service.

Private Jets for Sale http://leerjetguide.com/2009/01/private-jet-vs-private-charter/ http://leerjetguide.com/2009/01/private-jet-vs-private-charter/#comments Sat, 03 Jan 2009 03:49:55 +0000 admin http://leerjetguide.com/?p=12

Not everyone can afford to buy a private jet. If you have spent any time at all looking on the Internet at aircraft prices you know these vehicles are not cheap. In addition to the upfront costs associated with purchasing one of these, there are things like fuel and maintenance to consider. When you sum all of these items up, private jets get very expensive, very quickly. There is an alternative to buying your own private jet, jet rental or jet charter.

Jet charter is a very viable alternative for most business people and executives that have need of a private jet, but lack the desire or resources to deal with all of the extra items that accompany jet ownership. In addition, there are many jet charter companies available to meet your requirements and provide a solution that is specifically customized to meet your business needs.

One such aircraft charter company is BlueStar Jets. BlueStar provides a whole host of charter services that will provide you with a fully customizable set of options. This company even offers jumbo jet rentals. They have positioned themselves to offer many tiers of charter service to meet the private jet needs of a broad customer base.

If your company decides to give BlueStar Jets a try, please consider coming back and telling us how they performed and if you were impressed with their service.

As I have spent time looking around the web for a good LearJet sales sight I have been struck by how difficult this seemingly simple task is. There are many sites that have lear jets for sale, it’s just that not all of those sites are worth visiting. One of my goals within the pages of the LeerJet Guide site is to provide you with information you can use. To this end, I have found the site avbuyer.com. This site provides a ton of information and will help anyone looking for information about buying a Learjet, or buying a plane. The site is broken down into several sections, but each one of them deals with various types of aircraft that are for sale.

This site even has a section where they provide reviews of the LearJets for sale and discuss the pros and cons of each of these aircraft. They also cover many different types of planes for sale, to include corporate aircraft and piston type jets. Take a look at the site and let me know what you think. Also, in the event that you decide to purchase one of these planes, you may want to consider acquiring some flight training and learn how to fly this bad boy yourself!

Leer Jet Guide – Aircraft Financing and Loans http://leerjetguide.com/2008/09/leer-jet-guide-%e2%80%93-aircraft-financing-and-loans/ http://leerjetguide.com/2008/09/leer-jet-guide-%e2%80%93-aircraft-financing-and-loans/#comments Thu, 04 Sep 2008 05:14:56 +0000 admin http://leerjetguide.com/?p=9

So, in our last blog installment, we briefly touched on the subject of buying aircraft, specifically buying a LearJet. I hope several of those sites I provided that sell leer jets were useful. On a side note, if you find other sites that may be useful when it comes to purchasing a jet, please write us and let us know. We love to provide our readers with new information. Ok…back on topic. Most individuals or companies that are in the market to buy a LearJet or charter jet are not going to have the discretionary funds to make the purchase outright. Even those that have the money on hand may prefer to invest it elsewhere and use someone else’s money for the jet purchase. This is where aircraft loansand aircraft financing come in to play. Similar to buying a house, buying a leer jet is expensive and will require a considerable amount of money.

During the course of my Internet research on the topic of aircraft loans and aircraft financing I came a across a company called NAFCO. They have a full line of loans and financing programs that will meet almost all aviation financing needs. After a brief perusal of their site, it appears they finance all types of aircraft, and are willing to work with you to meet you specific financing needs.

If you find that leer jet ownership will not work out for you, you can look into fractional ownership, or a charter plane. Charter planes and fractional ownership both provide you with an opportunity to enjoy the benefits of your own private LearJet, without the hassle of aircraft financing or loans and without the enormous out of pocket expense.

When putting together a list of possible topics for this site we had to take into consideration that some of our visitors may be in the market for a LearJet and as such we felt compelled to write this article. Unlike the purchase of a car, most consumers will never be in the market for the purchase of a Leer Jet; those of you who have need of a jet have several options. Buying a LearJet is still like buying anything else…only a little more expensive. As with any purchase, you need to conduct preliminary product research before even approaching a dealer. You should know what your budget is, what you are actually willing to pay for the airplane, and have an idea of which model of LearJet will best suit your personal or business needs.

Next I would highly recommend performing research on the various companies that sell these jets. You can go for a new jet, or used jet…but you need to do your homework. One of the companies I found when conducting initial research on this topic is Aircraft Dealer. Their website has a fair amount of information about used and new aircraft and would be a good starting point for you research. Additionally I would spend a fair amount of time looking into what jets, similar to the one you are looking at purchasing, are currently selling for. Everybody likes to get a good deal, and it is much easier to facilitate a good deal when you are equipped with the correct information.

If you have found this information useful and you end up buying a jet, please comeback a leave us a note about your experience. Thanks!

Happy Flying!

Lear Jets – The Bombardier 45x http://leerjetguide.com/2008/07/lear-jets-%e2%80%93-the-bombardier-45x/ http://leerjetguide.com/2008/07/lear-jets-%e2%80%93-the-bombardier-45x/#comments Tue, 15 Jul 2008 20:47:58 +0000 admin http://leerjetguide.com/?p=6

Previously we have profiled the Bombardier 40XR, today we will take a brief look at another Bombardier Leer Jet (LearJet) that provides slightly different options for those who are in the market for a LearJet. The LearJet 45 weighs in at approximately 35,000 pounds, and is equipped with advanced flight software and design elements. The cabin is designed to accommodate nine passengers in a double-seat configuration, complete with swivel recliner seats and tables. Additionally, the cabin is outfitted with a galley that has passenger facilities (read bathroom) and also integrates steps into the port-side door. Also, the baggage compartment is heated (we all know how important this is).

This Leer Jet aircraft is powered by two Honeywell TFE731-20 turbofan engines and has the ability to climb to cruising altitude in approximately 23 seconds (not bad). Honeywell also provides the air conditioning and pressurization systems that are used to regulate the environmental aspects of the aircraft.

We hope this information has helped you.

Lear Jet – Fractional Ownership http://leerjetguide.com/2008/07/lear-jet-%e2%80%93-fractional-ownership/ http://leerjetguide.com/2008/07/lear-jet-%e2%80%93-fractional-ownership/#comments Wed, 09 Jul 2008 04:25:55 +0000 admin http://leerjetguide.com/?p=5

One of the topics that needs to be touched on when discussing Lear (or Leer) Jets is that of fractional ownership. Fractional ownership (in anything be it condominiums, jets, or summer rental property) can be a complicated process. Given the complexity and legalities of this form of shared ownership, it is best to consult with a lawyer who is familiar with the process and capable of guiding you through the wickets that exist.

From a thirty-thousand foot perspective, fractional jet ownership is similar to any other commodity you purchase a fraction of. As with a timeshare, you contract for a certain amount of time wherein the jet is available for your use. I have read that some of the companies providing this service will ensure, through the use of other assets, that a jet is available for you when you need it…as long as it is within the parameters of your contract. There is certainly a cost benefit that is realized through the use of fractional Lear Jet ownership, with some prices being as low as $8,000 for 50 hours per year. It is this cost efficiency that makes this a viable alternative for many individuals who would otherwise not be able to afford the outright purchase of a Lear Jet.

We hope this information has helped. If you have anything you would like to the discussion, please leave a comment and we will be sure to respond.

Lear Jet – Models http://leerjetguide.com/2008/07/lear-jet-%e2%80%93-models/ http://leerjetguide.com/2008/07/lear-jet-%e2%80%93-models/#comments Fri, 04 Jul 2008 04:50:40 +0000 admin http://leerjetguide.com/?p=4

As discussed in my previous article, the Lear (or Leer, whichever you prefer) Jet has been around for a long time. The result of this long production run is that there is an extensive product line and number of models dating all the way back to the 1950’s. This site will not undertake to explore all of the historic models of the Lear Jet. If you are interested in the historic type of information I would recommend visiting Wikipedia, as they have a fairly well developed page on this subject. Instead of focusing on the older models, we will explore the current product line and discuss what each of the jets has to offer. A follow-up article to this series will provide you with information on how to rent a jet either through standard jet rental practices or through the use of something called “fractional jet ownership”.

The Bombardier LearJet 40XR is currently one of Bombardier’s best jets. The statistics detailed on the Bombardier LearJet site indicate this jet is capable of flying from San Francisco to Dallas, or from Seattle to Kansas City non-stop. An additional item that makes this model attractive is its availability for fractional jet ownership. The 40XR comes fully equipped with leather seats, a private aft bathroom, and extra room for luggage, air and ground air conditioning, digital telephone with modem port, electrical outlets, warming oven, video monitor, VCR, DVD, CD and cassette stereo, and Airshow 400 Inflight Information System.

This plane will certainly provide a comfortable flight between you destinations. If you elect to participate in a fractional jet ownership program, or just go out and buy a Bombardier LearJet 40XR, please come back and let us know how you like it.

Happy Flying!
